Hi, Name is Colin, and i use 1 of my 3 netcell cards for a remote backup server. Its using 250 gig sata drives, and as of right now, one of them is dead, but the volume is working as fast as usual. Maybe i should replace the failed drive but thats effort.

I have tried to throttle them down to 1.5 but it doesnt make any difference with the capacity.
Also, server 2003 is a 32bit os, but doesnt have the 2tb limitation that XP has. I currently have a few 3-4 tb dynamic volumes with no problems in 2003.
I will test it with 3 drives in a 64bit OS however. Just in case. If that fixes it, i will then return to being a very happy person.

What problems are you having with it? I have one in a production machine doing remote backups. They are sometimes finicky cards.

Has anyone ever got the netcell sata 5 port cards over 2 terabytes in volume?
I have 3! of the cards, in the aim to create 3 4tb raid3 volumes, using 1 tb drives.
With the 5 drives connected, the firmware sees and creates the raid3 volume. But once you boot, all you get is a 2tb volume, and an unknown device in device manager. Its not a windows problem, this is server 2003 standard edition!
If there is no fix i have two cards available to sell, because one of them is in a machine using 250 gig drives that i had laying around.
