Anybody know if there is a LED pinout for a drive failure? If so I was thinking of hooking a Piezo speaker to it to alert me when a drive fails since the software can't be run under 2008.

Oh, and to use GPT you will need Server 2003 sp1 or later, Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008.
I think Vista has support too, but don't have that one to test.

As long as you select GPT and not MBR as the partition type, you will be able to create rather large arrays. Mine is currently at 6 TB.
